Why Auckland businesses choose iT360
Auckland is home to roughly a third of New Zealand's businesses and the bulk of the country's professional services, finance, retail, construction, and tech firms. The IT challenges that come with operating here are different to anywhere else in NZ; tighter cyber compliance pressure from larger clients, faster cloud adoption, and more sophisticated threats targeting Auckland-based companies.
iT360 is headquartered in Wairau Valley with technicians servicing Auckland businesses across the North Shore, CBD, Manukau, and West Auckland. We support over a hundred Auckland SMBs across professional services, food and retail, engineering, legal, and trades; a track record since 1995 that puts iT360 among the longest-standing IT companies in Auckland. Our average response time for Auckland clients is around 25 minutes for remote tickets and same-day for onsite where it's needed.
If you're an Auckland business with between 10 and 200 staff and your current IT setup feels reactive, fragile, or just behind the times, we're worth a conversation.

What's included in our service
No bolt-ons, no surprise extras. Everything below is part of how we run your IT.
1.
Your Microsoft 365 environment is one of the most targeted parts of your business. We lock it down with email security, MFA, and a full security score assessment so you know exactly where you stand.
2.
Every laptop, desktop, and server is a potential entry point. Powered by Huntress EDR, we monitor your devices around the clock, detecting, isolating, and responding fast.
3.
Compromised credentials cause most breaches. Huntress ITDR watches your Microsoft 365 identities for suspicious behaviour, flagging unusual sign-ins and account takeovers before they become serious.
4.
We manage and monitor your firewalls and switches to keep unauthorised traffic out, your data moving safely, and your team connected without unnecessary risk.
5.
Need to meet SMB1001, CIS Controls, or ISO27001? We manage the whole process from gap assessment through certification.
6.
We back up your servers, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace so when ransomware, hardware failure, or accidental deletion happens, you're back up fast.
7.
Most attacks start with a person. We train your team to spot phishing and handle data safely, turning your biggest vulnerability into your first line of defence.
8.
We set your team up with a business-grade password manager so everyone has strong, unique credentials, without trying to remember them all.
9.
MDM lets us enforce security policies, manage app access, and remotely wipe phones and tablets if they're lost or stolen.

Straightforward answers to help you decide if iT360 is the right IT partner for your team.
Yes. Our office is at 205 Wairau Road in Wairau Valley, and our technicians cover the whole region: CBD, North Shore, West, South, and East Auckland. Around 90% of issues are resolved remotely, usually within minutes, so onsite is reserved for genuinely physical work (hardware, network gear, office moves, new-site fit-outs), and for that we're typically there the same day. Our client map reflects the coverage: Wilson Harle in the CBD, Waterware in Albany, Farro's six stores across the city, Pipeline and Civil's operations, and dozens of others from Henderson to East Tamaki. Monitoring runs 24/7 regardless of where your office is, which means many problems are fixed before anyone at your end notices. The goal is that onsite visits become planned events, not emergencies.
For priority issues we aim to be onsite within four hours anywhere in metro Auckland, and much faster on the North Shore where we're based. But the more useful numbers are the remote ones, because about 90% of what we do never involves a vehicle: average response is around 25 minutes, critical issues get a response within the hour, and most helpdesk requests are resolved the same day. The service is structured so the technician-in-a-car question comes up rarely: 24/7 monitoring catches faults early, recurring problems get engineered out, and hardware is standardised so a failure means a swap, not a rebuild. Clients who've switched from reactive providers, like DHC Consulting and Wilson Harle, tend to notice the drop in incidents before they ever test the onsite response time.
We work best with Auckland businesses between 10 and 200 staff. Smaller than that, you usually don't need a full managed service, and we'll tell you so; a good local IT consultant may serve you better until you grow. Bigger than that, you've often got internal IT, and we partner with in-house teams rather than replace them, providing the security stack, escalation depth, or project capacity they don't carry. Within the range, our clients span the spread: ten-person consultancies, Waterware's 35-strong team, and Farro with more than 350 staff across six stores; they grew into that size with us, which is the pattern we like best. Pricing is a fixed monthly fee per user, so costs track headcount and there's never an incentive for us to let problems recur.
Yes: NZ-owned and operated since 1995, headquartered at 205 Wairau Road in Wairau Valley, which makes iT360 one of the longest-standing IT companies in Auckland. The helpdesk is our own team on the ground here; there are no offshore call centres, and the engineers who support you work in your timezone and know Auckland's suppliers, ISPs, and quirks. Longevity is worth weighing when you choose a provider: nearly thirty years of operation means documented processes, client relationships that have run more than a decade, and named, checkable references. Farro, Waterware, Wilson Harle, Pipeline and Civil, and others have all put their experience on the record in our case studies, and our Google rating (4.9 from 95+ reviews) is public too.
Everything an Auckland SMB needs to run and stay protected, under one monthly per-user fee: proactive 24/7 monitoring, helpdesk support, cyber security across email, devices, identity, and network (Huntress EDR and identity threat detection, MFA, email filtering, awareness training), Microsoft 365 management, tested backups, password management, mobile device management, and strategic roadmap planning with a named account manager. Onboarding follows a published 100-day timeline: kickoff on day one, your full environment documented by day 14, cutover by day 30, a review at day 45, a cyber security assessment around day 75, and an AI workshop at day 100. That last one isn't a gimmick: we run a genuine AI and automation practice, and every managed client gets exposure to it as part of settling in.
Yes. We run managed security programmes covering SMB1001, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001, and manage the whole process: gap assessment, prioritised remediation, documentation, and support through audit or certification. The demand usually arrives commercially (a corporate client or insurer asks for evidence of your security posture, and suddenly it's blocking a contract), and Auckland businesses feel that pressure earlier than most because of who they trade with. SMB1001 is often the pragmatic starting point for an SMB: it's achievable, NZ-relevant, and maps a sensible maturity ladder. Whichever standard applies, the foundation is already in every managed agreement (endpoint protection, identity monitoring, MFA, tested backups), so certification becomes documentation and discipline on top of controls that already exist, rather than a scramble to build them.
Yes, and it's a genuine practice rather than a sideline: we've run more than 90 AI workshops for over 500 NZ business leaders, and we build automations for clients through a dedicated AI and automation team. The usual entry point is a two-hour workshop with your leadership team: we research your business first, demo AI on your actual workflows, and you leave with a shortlist of opportunities ranked by effort and payoff. Every managed client gets that workshop within their first 100 days. From there, builds are scoped individually: Waterware is the reference story, where we built Gandalf, an internal AI chatbot trained on their product knowledge base, and automated their finance team's order processing, each delivered in weeks rather than months. IT support keeps the lights on; this is the part that moves you forward.
