Timesheets chased by text every Monday, then typed into the system by hand.

02

Site crew on personal phones and laptops, with no real control over the company data sitting on them.

03

Quotes, variations and invoices living in three systems that don't talk to each other.

04

One convincing email away from a redirected supplier payment, with no plan for the day it lands.

AI built for construction & trades.

Not AI in general. These are the specific workflows we automate in this industry, and the reason this page exists.

Timesheet and job capture

Crew text or voice-note their hours and it lands in the job system already coded to the right job.

Quote and variation drafting

Turn a site note and your price list into a first-draft quote in minutes instead of an evening.

Invoice and payment chasing

Automatic follow-up on overdue progress claims, so nobody has to make the awkward call.

Compliance paperwork

Health and safety records, SWMS and sign-offs collected and filed against the job automatically.

Job knowledge search

Ask a plain question and get the answer out of your own drawings, specs and past jobs.

What your clients and insurers now ask you to prove.

Bigger clients increasingly want evidence of basic security controls before they will put you on a site. We map your setup against SMB1001, keep the Privacy Act side clean, and give you the completed security questionnaire instead of a scramble.

If something does go wrong, you have a tested backup and a written plan, not a guess. Every agreement includes a cyber security assessment so you know your real position early rather than after an incident.

Frequently asked questions

Can you support crew who are never in the office?

Yes. Most of our construction clients have more people on site than at a desk. Support is remote first, so a supervisor stuck on a site laptop gets someone on the phone in about 25 minutes, and inside the hour if the job has stopped. When the work needs hands on it, a site office fit-out, new gear, cabling, we turn up. Auckland metro is within four hours.

Do we have to replace our job management software?

No. If you run Simpro, Fergus, WorkflowMax, Xero or some mix of the lot, we work with it and connect it up. Swapping a core system is a business call, not something your IT provider should be pushing. The exception is software that can't be secured or that the vendor has stopped supporting. We'll tell you straight if you're in that spot, show you the risk, and price the options before anything moves.

What does the AI side actually do on a building job?

Mostly it stops people typing things twice. Crew send their hours by text or voice note and it lands in the job system, coded. Site notes turn into a draft quote you can check instead of writing from scratch. Overdue claims get chased without anyone making the awkward call. What it won't do is make site calls or price your jobs. Someone still reads and signs off anything that goes to a client.

A main contractor sent us a security questionnaire. Can you help?

Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons trade businesses ring us. Head contractors and council clients now want proof of MFA, endpoint protection, patching, backups and a plan for when something goes wrong, before they'll put you on site. We check what you've actually got against SMB1001, fix the gaps worth fixing, and fill the thing in with you. Next time it's a copy and paste job.

How bad is invoice fraud in construction, really?

It's how most trade businesses we see lose real money. Someone gets into an email account, sits quietly reading the invoice thread, then sends a message changing the bank account on a payment that was always going to happen. Nothing looks broken, so nobody checks. The fixes are boring and they work: MFA on every account, monitoring that flags a dodgy login, and a hard rule that any change of bank details gets confirmed by phone on a number you already had.

What does this cost?

Managed IT is a fixed monthly fee per person, covering helpdesk, monitoring, maintenance, backups and the security baseline. Automation is quoted per build against a fixed scope. What it comes to depends on your headcount, your devices, whether there's a server, and how many sites need connectivity, so any number on a website would be made up. The review costs nothing and you'll have real pricing before you decide anything.
